Never Said

I never said I was lost;
But you found me.

I never said I needed you;
But you came.

I never said I was lonely;
But you kept me company.

I never said I was sad;
But you dried my tears.

I never said I was frightened;
But you protected me.

I never said I wanted anyone;
But you understood my longing.

I never said I cared;
But you gave me your all.

I never said “I Love You”;
But I did.

I think love is inevitable when someone comes along and answers the unasked questions and fulfills our unspoken needs... I like your poem very much!

I went back away and found this. I can't believe I missed it. Unspoken words, doing what is needed without being asked. Beautiful poem!
