As the day ends and it comes dusk, He waits patiently to hear from us. We can feel what he has to say, When we're on our knees and pray. He wants us to choose the right, So we won't see the blinding light. He can seens our fears, And he shares the pain with our tears. Trials he'll guide us through, If our faith in hims stays true. He's always watching me and you, And his love and guidence will contiune. He's loving caring and kind, But him on earth you will not find. He looks down on us with tender love, His name is God from above. A very touching poem. Did you know that Helen Steiner Rice (who is known for her Christian poetry and greeting cards) started out simply just writing small rhyming verses for a greeting card company? Her poems became in such demand that the company started a line of cards with a spiritual emphasis. Continue writing the beautiful poems - you may be the next person working for a greeting card company writing cards, as did Helen S. Rice! By the way - I read this in her biography!
