Now I See Lately you’ve been tired, distant in a way You’ve been jumpy, your nerves kind of frayed You let me wonder what it was I did wrong Now I see it was you all along Now I understand what’s been driving me away You finally told the truth about what happened that day I guess deep down I knew it was true But I guess it was something I hoped you’d never do Now everytime I kiss and hold you tight All I remember is what you told me last night How not even two days away from you is all it takes to feel hurt and used Now I wonder if to let you go or hold you near Cause the pain of this again is all I fear I promised I’d love you and that I’d never leave So what was the reason of doing this to me? pain is all that matters here not what bought it... you show how he hurt you just be showing your pain... "there is cntrol and chaos in all things and we alone decide how we will be effected" |

Elizabeth-He cheated on me a couple weeks ago and just admited it last night. It's just an expression of how I feel. I think sometimes I am unclear in my meaning but my poetry is like my diary. I know what I mean when I write. And sometimes I don't intend there to be a certain thing he did, this poem could apply to more people for reasons they've been hurt. I hope I haven't confused you anymore than you already were. Poohbear-you see what I mean.  |
