Frozen minds in frozen moments
Dance in rings
'Round silent torment;

I see their golden dreams
Go gray
And see them filter
Poison night
Through wide--
And yet, unseeing--
Eyes-

They live
But life is pain...

And they know they're only
Living pain...

This they know,
But will never say

-stop.

How true! They can't seem to see the light until they've lost something precious.
