For years I remained faithful,
my heart belonged to him.
I followed all his orders,
and obeyed his every whim.

Now I see my errors,
I had played the fool.
How can I ever love again?
Why is my life so cruel?

Now my heart has frozen cold,
I will not let it break.
I fear my soul will bleed once more,
how much can I take?

I though it was wise to be cautious,
but it's gotten out of hand.
My fear and over-protectivness,
is more than I can stand.

So this is what I have become,
owner of a lonely heart.
No one will ever tresspass,
and nothing will ever start.

No Mystic, the poem isn't about me! I'm glad too. I was writing about my friend Sonya. A few days ago she was sobbing and wailing all day on the phone about her boyfriend Drew. Thanks!
