(to the tune of "Downtown") When you're alone And you have needs for a po-em You can always try F O R U M S !  Cast off your worries, Get right there in a hurry We'll be standing by! F O R U M S !  And you may find somebody kind So glad to be around you, Someone whose poetic views Will nourish and astound you. How can you lose?  So maybe I'll see you here You can forget all your troubles- Just call Balladeer......at the F O R U M S ! Fred Hobbs can do it right. F O R U M S ! DeVine is such delight! F O R U M S ! Where Ron and Nanci write Forums.....Forums  At the.....F O R U M S ! Evil is just a Dream. F O R U M S ! Izzy will make you scream! F O R U M S ! One great big happy team Here! 'Deer I read your poem and thought awhile, Of those days of Petula Clark. And as I did, I began to smile (Tho the smile was twisted, dark). You see I've always loved that song, It lifted my spirits high. But your poem, somehow, seemed all wrong, Do you wear your skirts midthigh? And if you dance in a Go Go cage, While you compose the lines you write, I wonder if you shave your legs, And wear your sweaters tight. The forum needn't know what goes on, I respect your choice of dress. (Send a gif to me @ hotmail.com) The National Enquirer will do the rest. 'Deer - that was one heckuva challenge you met - I enjoyed every line as it took me down memory lane. |

Don't you worry about my dress (that pouffe hair spray is such a mess!) But I tell you, I damn near freeze When I apply my toiletries! No beds down here. There's just a bench Available if you're a wench. And so my dress and make-up stay... You try sleepin' in a damn subway!! |
