Thank You My Angel I sit on the beach, watching the waves. Watching the dolphins playing, and the sun's fading rays. The seagulls cry, breezes carrying them aloft. The smell of the sea, I treasure these thoughts. I feel somewhat different, something has changed. No longer alone, not living in vain. My pain and my loneliness, depart me at last. The emptiness gone, escape from the past. An angel beside me, her magic abounds. Gave me her love, my heart she has found. Tears fill my eyes, the love overwhelming. She chose me to love, so caring and giving. I look up at the stars, two can be seen. Your soul and mine, shining down upon me. Thank you my lord, this angel I'll keep. For without her I'm lost, my life incomplete. Thank you my angel, for your love so endearing. You gave me a home, from this long road I've been wandering. Together we stay, forever we love. I love you my angel, I thank the heavens above. |
