There is one forest I know well
all damp and dark and magical
with fairy rings and little folk
and unicorns and whisps of smoke
where wizards live and dragons too
and rabbit holes that go right through
the Earth and to the other side
a magic place I go to hide

Can I come along sometime when I need a hiding place? Once again Fred, you have done a fine job! The imagery is excellent. Now where is this magical forest?

Hey, Fred!

Welcome back!

This place is always "dragon" without you!

I can smell he peat moss...see the newly sprouted violets...feel the soft piney breeze.. this might be better than a week on vacation! (I liked this poem - I like all your poems!)
