Friendship

All over the world
our friends are laughing or crying
from the time they are born
to the time they are dying

Each one of them is needed
and with our hearts we do share
with our tears and our laughter
our souls we lay bare

We hold out our hands
in our desire to show love
with our hearts we talk gently
and give them a hug

We share and we smile
use our words with great care
because at the end of the day
good friends are so rare!

Hello there, Rainbow Girl. I agree with your poem whole-heartedly. Frieds are rare, and that makes them priceless. Just like you.

I have to admit to laughing when I saw the "frieds"..I thought "typical yank, always thinking of food"...ROFL...oooops, but the sentiment is felt here..:-))
