Why do you trip me?
Why do you smile?
You slug me and tease me,
And leave me aside.

Across from the room,
You'll stand from afar,
stick out your tongue,
and go watch the stars.

You return to my side,
with a drink in your hand,
we start talking nicely,
until a moment arrives.

I'm told that your lonely
but given a chance,
you dump them and leave them,
without a glance.

I only want answers,
you confuse me inside.
The laughing, and playing,
is making me blind.

What do you want?
Is it only one night?
Commitment a problem?
I will not bite.

You know my condition,
I am stuck in a lie.
So what is the problem?
What's on your mind?

I don't know if this is something that is
really going on in yourlife.Or if this just
a poem you wrote that is not real in your
life.I would like to comment on it. What I'm
trying to ask is this really happening in
your life. I feel I would be able to comment
on it then. Are you asking for advice?

Sounds like a typical teenage male to me... it may take a while but with time and love they usually grow up.

Delores,
It is real, and the person it's about is my bosses' best friend. I don't see him often, but when I do, he's right there teasing me.

flirting can be such fun, for it's own sake, but don't worry about what he wants, think about your desires instead

There may be something there but he may be
afraid of something. It says you are stuck
in a lie.Are you commited to someone else?
If so that could be a powerful factor in
this.Also you say he's lonely.And that he
dumps them and leaves them. What exactly do
you want in this?If you want him to establish
a relationship you have to be prepared that
he will leave you also. I also should have
added earlier. That because you don't see
him often it could be that he is just
flirting with you and it don't mean a lot.
Some people just like to flirt.

Delores,
Yes, I've been in a committed relationship for years, but we're not "in love" with each other any more. I love the person I'm with, but it's purely platonic anymore. There are also alot of other circumstances that force me to stay with him. There are many people that tell me to stay with him, knowing all the circumstances, but say I should have affairs, I'm not sure I'm comfortable with that either because I know it's wrong. Elvira, as for my desires, this guy gets me going, but I have no idea what he wants!!!

Delores,
I won't be able to e-mail you until late next week. My e-mail isn't set up on this computer, and the one that is, is in the shop. Read "Two Lives Entwined" and maybe you'll understand a little better...
