Doubting That You Love me...agian

in your voice,
the tones run cold and deep,
are you frightened of the promises,
you know that you cant keep.

i notice that your touch,
has some insecurities,
am i still enough,
or are you really going to hurt me?

i understand that now,
you say youve grown up alot,
that you know me well enough,
and im the one you want.

but wanting isnt loving,
and your words dont make sense,
so in your arms, my heart,
slowly builds a resistance.

for all the pain youve caused before,
i overlooked this time,
just to have you in my life,
and promise me your mine.

along with you comes heartache,
but im willing to endure,
because i know i love you,
just as i did before.

i owe it to myself,
to give you this last chance,
but in your eyes, the moonlight,
it takes a sudden stance.

do you plan on our forever,
just as ive always done,
with all my insecurities,
i still need your love.

even though its changed,
since now and then,
im sitting here doubting,
that you love me.......agian.

I've worn many different shoes, at different times in my life. But I've found that if there's any doubt in your mind at all, there is a valid reason for that doubt. Love does not have any doubt AT All. So, beware...

thank you for your insight, but sometimes love can suprise you more than you think. Just because your doubting something doesnt mean you can give up on it.

That's true. I didn't mean to suggest that you give up, but I would be cautious.

thank you very much , believe me i am. i cant afford to overlook things the way i used to , a heart can grow tired after so much.
