Almost
But not quite
Conflicting stories.
Did he?
Every night?
For how long?
God knows!
He sees all
In our hearts
Just as a parent
Keeps tabs.
Looking back,
Mother saw signs
No clues made sense
Other than one -
Peanut butter smears
Quietly led to him.
Rather than confess,
Sheepishly he lied -
"The dog did it."
Unbelievable!
"Very sly," she thought.
"Well young man,
X-cept for chores and school,
You're grounded...
Zero TV for one week."

Ok Genea, you went down the alphabet with the first letter in every line. Very clever, indeed.

Yes, i was being silly and used the alphabet, but accidentally left out the letter X......until elvira noticed and told me....so i edited it back in.
