She sits silently atop a flower
Eyes closed, but looking at the sun
And that smile she bears makes me believe
there is a thing called love
I could stare at her for years
But in time she will leave
And in time I will forget
I won’t be able to remember
Her flowing golden hair
The blueness of her eyes
The grace of her being
But should I live to eternity
I could never forget love
