Ala bam a
Misery Loves Company
I've heard it been said,
Humor's good for the soul,
That's why I "go there" instead.
Being serious brings memories,
Of my unbelievable past,
It's a nice place to visit,
But I leave there quite fast.
Do you think of your errors?
Do you dwell on them long?
Wish ya could live your life over?
Do right-what ya did wrong?
My serious side hides-amongst silly play,
It comes out very rarely, as it did today.
You all seem to have that talent so rare,
To put into words, the thoughts you share.
Some use humor or passion and such,
To hit the funnybone...or the hearts that you touch.
I love to write poetry;
Some's good and some's bad,
But what would ya expect,
From a guy named Toerag?
"To be poetic is to bare one's soul, to show all of the holes and patches and laughter..go ahead and step in it...give it a kick and a "Ha-ha".....It'll make ya tough!"
