Let me out to play
Don't keeped me locked away
I haven't done anything wrong
let the rings of fire out
let me hear the song
The unknown wants to be known
I sit and wait to be noticed
She waits for someone to come
Don't ignore- Don't delay
Come-Open door
When is a door not a door
when it is ajar
Peak through the light
I'm alone
Look around and see nothing
Open the door and let her out
Boundries are gone
Just open space
Beyond the walls are all her lost dreams
let me out
Night and day with no ending
I yearn to feel the light
Yet she's confused
The fire of eternalness is gone
Only open space
when forever ends
Night and day never end
they just cover one another
Fairy tales end
Unshapely figures take over in the night
the darkness closes around me
she's scared--Let her out
Then in one split second
Forever ends

Thanks for your E-mail...I'm really flattered you chose me to ask me for my opinion on your work. I think this is a very nice piece - the content reminds me of what I spent many years writing about , all those same emotions. For me, it was a way to vent my frustrations & disappointments. Most of it wasn't even considered poetry , I have pages of simply "my thoughts." I'll E-mail you some time today, so we can talk more...I'd love to see more of your work....we try to stay short & sweet in here, so as to not "clutter" & take up precious space...I'll be keeping in touch - you just keep on writing ! ; )
