This is my first time to publish

Here is a poem i wrote a while ago

A lot of wishful thinking bullshit...

If I could catch a star and
put it in your eyes,
I would....
But it would shine for
only-me, and not just when you
wanted.

So then when you tell me you need space,
I'd look into your eyes,
see my star still shining
and know that nothing could
ever squelch its fire...

not rain, nor snow, nor dead
of night, nor frail human
fears and confusion..
