A New Life in Christ

The Lord has blessed me it is true,
And given me a life that's new.
Taken me from drugs and pain,
And taught me how to live again.
He's brought me from despair and sorrow,
And brightens up each new tomorrow.
For what I lost, I now have found,
The love of God, His grace abounds.
For where would I be today,
If God had not showed me the way.
I'd be running a life that didn't mean much,
Wanting to give up, if not for His touch.
He has given what's new, forgotten what's old,
Fills up with warmth, the heart that was cold.
The Bible, His word, the very thoughts of His mind,
Will tell you He loves you, He's patient and kind.
In this Book, where pure love abounds,
When in it, will turn your whole life around.
Things that were bad, got a whole lot better,
When I got into His word, and took heed to His letter.

Your faith is really awesome, and you express it with such respect and love - I know many wishy-washy believers (myself included!), you're an inspiration.

Thank you that was deeply appreciated! I have not been in my Fathers word nearly as much I should be. I been slackin' big time. But thanks again...
