Love-embraced, that first soft time
so gently
so sweetly
the merest touch,
a shivering glance
of skin against skin,
So hot
the sun of Egypt
burned through my gasping heart
Seeking an oasis to uncertain Passion
I know no solace exists
but to drown
in your depthless eyes
The words my heart call
float unnoticed
in the air our
combined breath cannot stir.
Love, true, you have graced my life
yet I cannot claim you
cannot feel your sweet touch
unless in accidental passing

Very interesting, Severn. I thought the oasis very tempting! Is this written from your experience, and if so, go after her/him!

I love your work nonetheless -- I really like your writing style...Good thing I found out you're a female BEFORE I fell in love !! LOL Ha ha ha he he he Forgive me - I still love your work - keep writing..!!.
