My father tucked me in last night,
and gave me a big, giant hug.
He asked me if I liked to fish,
and I just gave a shrug.

I never ever tried before,
cause' I don't enjoy trout.
But daddy said that when I sleep,
I'll be a fishing without any doubts.

I was stumped by what he said,
whatever did he mean?
He said the oceans would be nice,
like shades of blue and green.

"Go to sleep my little one,"
daddy whispered to me.
"You'll do lots of fishing,
in seas of tranquility."

That night I dreamt a beautiful dream,
there were rainbow fishes in a clear blue stream.
I was sitting on a great boat,
on the sparkling waters my ship did float.

The clouds were puffy, big, and white.
The stars shined golden all through the night.
I caught thousands of fish, all pretty and but sad.
I took them from their families; at myself I got mad.

I freed those fishies,
back to there homes.
I smiled and on the oceans,
I continued to roam.

But, all that fishing is fine with me.
I love the sea of tranquility.
