Every time my eyes fall upon her,
My heart melts, my knees feel as though
they’ll fall from under me
and my mind
searches for the right words to say.

Never are those words found…

Her eyes blaze through me,
Taking all my pain and worries away.
Nothing can I hear but her melodic voice
And I am blind to all but her face
Her words sew together my broken heart
But the strings only hold as long as she is near,
My own fears break her work.
I have so much I want to say to her
But I just can’t get past one question…

What do you say to an angel?

What is a man to do when
He doesn’t trust his own heart?
She fills me so full of joy
Whenever she is near,
My heart doubles in size with
Each sweet word that rolls off her lips
Yet a subtle voice in my head
Reminds me of who and what I am
Compared to such an angel as she.

I am trapped within my own fears.

The sweet melody of her laugh
Rings through my soul like a harp
Her words, her touch, her gaze
Rips at the cage that holds my heart,
A cage I have locked so many times out of fear.
Love tries to escape the chains that
I have bound to it,

Closer to escape on every try.

Her angelic touch draws my soul
Close to hers,
And for the first time my fears
Surrender to her call and my heart
Escapes its bonds into an unknown
World where every breath,
Every touch,
Every sweet utterance,
Every charismatic glance
Is as precious as life itself.
She opens my eyes to a world that
Had always seemed foreign to me,
The warmth of her heart causes
Emotions I only knew in fables
Rise from my love-torn soul towards the sky

Love grows…

It's obvious you have someone very beautiful to write about...how lucky you are. She will inspire many wonderful works from you. as I see she already has...capture all of these beautiful thoughts of yours on paper, so you can always reflect back in the years that come - and remember. How lucky she is!
