Each day you throw your arms around me
and you charge me with your love.
And it isn’t really hard to know
what you are thinking of.
Your kisses are so sweet, my dear.
Your lips are so, so soft.
The way you love me is amazing
and my heart is thrown aloft.
Your dark and curly hair
is so inviting to the touch.
I never thought that I could love
just any one this much.
You instill the need in me
to be all that I can.
I know just what happy is
when I hold tight to your hand.
Our walks through the park
or even sitting quietly,
are truly the most wonderful,
heart-warming times for me.
Reading you my stories
or even simple verse,
going through the shopping mall
and emptying my purse,
loving all the things we do
is how I spend my time.
You are that special one for me;
loving you is so sublime.
And when the day is closing,
I kiss your forehead, little one.
Always and forever,
you’ll be my darling, precious son.

Very very nice -- surely not the ending I was anticipating, but that's good! I loved it !

Wonderfully descriptive! The feelings in this poem are so apparent. What lucky children you have (and what a lucky mom too!). I hope you save this one for him. Thank you for sharing.

I definitely will save this for him! I already printed it out and put it in his baby book! Thank you for your nice comments, both of you! Your praise is greatly appreciated!
