how could I say
there was
anything of flow & form
I knew so much? Your
impenetrable sulkiness i
have felt
this dawn & more.
you know it i
owe
it all to you &
the light bulb
would not
blink
without you

& how I love you so
much I
have
taken you at pen-point
under it you

take shape from my dreams
& chest-ache seems
peculiarly folded
against you

the brittle night
snapped shadows & light
warm music blurs
under the influence.

I am drunk with you
