Were I to close my eyes and dream of love
A vision of you would come to me
Handsome in face, strong in arms
And eyes as clear as the crystal blue sea

Close my eyes, and dream some more
Your voice confident, and secure
Words that are full of meaning and hope
A heart that only is pure

The dream would emerge with us hand in hand
Walking along the shore together
The changing of tides would show to me
That any storm brought forth we would weather

In it there would be rainbows, and children at play
And always your head next to mine at the close of day.
