Come away with me now to that land far away -
Where the sun always shines -
Where the night is always day...
Where your kiss becomes the sun -
Your embrace a gentle breeze...
That blows and sways my heart -
Like the winds across the seas.

Your touch becomes the castle -
In my land of fantasy...
The air of sultry shores of love -
the air of history...
You'll be my knight in armor,
and I'll be your princess fair -
Together we will become one -
the theme of love we'll share.......

Would it be nice if every one could have a

Thanks Nan - your comment is so genuine...I wrote one for a teacher of mine in high school many years back (MANY) and it's in here, quite a ways back, but I think you'd like it.....I'm not sure if you read it the first time it went through.....Look it up if you want....

There are SO MANY lines I could use her but, aside from the fact I would be banned for life, I wouldn't use them anyway because no flippant comment should detract from the absolute beauty of this poem. Beautiful.

To PFF,
The dreams of dreams fly high
and seldom carry the cargo why,
So why not fly.

Loved your poem.

Femme - err, ahh... yanno, I AM just a weak man. You DID know that didn't you? This is a terrific poem, with well-thought out direction and flow.

As for the Knight in shining armor - on summer days this armor I wear gets really really hot

Well, I haven't had my two cents worth yet! My gosh - this encaptures your talent completely. I find myself swaying off into a fantasy land, just reading this. Too short - make it longer so I don't have to leave so soon! It's great Pff, really really awesome.

You'd only been with us two days when you posted this lovely piece. I'm afraid when a newbie posts, they try to put as many on the forum as possible the first time out and some of them get overlooked. I wish we could get the word out that we like to look at gems like these one at a time...slowly....to savor the rich beauty and clarity!

Loved this PFF!

You didn't get that many responses earlier, now that you've brought it back to the surface, you have a million responses! I stand in awe of this poem, the fantasy world you have created - I can almost think I am peering through the wicked witch of Oz's crystal ball plotting some disaster. hehe just kidding... I would never think about ruining your fantasy dreams. Great one, liked it!

Fantabulous! I loved this, and am so mad at myself for missing it earlier. Sometimes airhead701 (me) doesn't know where her mind is! Good work.

I can't form a reply, I'll just tell you how this made me feel....my heart aches so, tears sting my eyes. I feel like my breath is caught in my chest.
Hows that for how wonderful this poem is?

A love that can be felt, meets our needs and can be felt when we reach out as well, says it all...a rippling lake, a view from a mountain, sharing a sunset, either side of the rainbow but each seeing the colours of love...

So deep and meaningful...
