In my dreams - my heart's a castle
many rooms, but no one's there...
One small tide could wash away
All my secrets hidden there.

If you would only come inside
To dwell within my soul...
My empty rooms would be no more
Please love me - make me whole.

It's short, but it sure says a lot!

Very sweet, poetFemmeFatale. One thing I've learnt is to create a room for yourself - we're never alone when we care for ourselves. Here's my favourite quote: 'To love oneself is the beginning of a lifelong romance' Oscar Wilde.

Yes, a beautiful work that speaks volumes..!!

Severn, I agree, loving thyself is the first step to loving others..it took me a long while to figure that one out...

Poet- I am thankful for who ever brought this up to the top, like much of our work this was excellent.
