I stand in lavendar soft -
I'm cleansed both inside and out...
My energy radiates strong -
Run from me - both fear & doubt!

The sun that warms me is kind -
The air that I breathe is so sweet...
My heart is healing quickly -
I won't accept defeat!

Thanks deVine for seeing this one...I know some people are really into Colors & Auras and such....my grandmother is, which is what inspired this piece...she told me I had a "lavendar aura" about me...?? Peaceful & serene....so I wrote about it, or what it meant to me.....a positive feel.

My ex-brother-in-law wore lavender loafers and watched Barney a lot. You would have liked him!

Well, I'm glad he's your EX, and I really don't think he would have been my type....(grin) Actually, I don't like the color purple too much...odd since I wrote this poem, heh?

I for one, love the color purple. And your poem too. Very beautiful.

I loved it!! Lavender (actually purple) signifies royalty...or of high standards. Wonderful association in your poem!
