Shhhhh.....
Listen.....
Hear that?
The critters are talking
It's been so long since I stopped to listen.
Since there were no bulldozers,
Chainsaws or tractors in my ears.
There's no need to drown out
The mechanical melee with music.

Shhhhh.....
Listen.....
Hear that?
You can almost hear the stars twinkle.
The blend of evening leaves rustling
And the critter's chatter
A symphony.

Shhhhh.....
Listen.....
Hear that?
A critter scuttling through the brush
And over there, a stream.
It's like I've been deaf,
And now suddenly can hear;
And there's so much to listen for.

Shhhhh.....
Listen.....
Hear that?

This is the first piece I wrote after my recent move from property that was being clear cut to plant vineyard.

I would like to see you build on this... moving away from the hustle and bustle can be quite innovating.

This was beautiful, I bet your a lot more tranquil now also. I could fall asleep listening to nature.
