We thank you LORD for your birth
For coming in flesh to save the earth.
For giving us reasons to remember
To YOU, our lives we should surrender.
For the Divine Plan so well thought through
That turns lives around and gives chances anew.
Thank-you Lord for the Saviors birth
For letting us know what we're worth.
No stronger love could YOU have showed
To all humanity when the Savior's blood flowed.
For all YOU faced, the temptation and scorn
To bring us life the night the Savior was born.

Thank You!

And thanks to God for the inspiration

It is really nice to belong to a site like PiP.  I have grown so close to many of you - and have heard of poets who no longer are among us.  It does something to my heart to come across this poem written by a lovely poet that I never had a chance to get to know.  But, in some ways, I have .. through the comments and conversations of those who did know her.

This is a beautiful poem that really does touch my heart.
