I was at the zoo one day.
And there was a monkey in a cage.

He was trying to tell me something.
But I really thought it was nothing.

He asked me what size I was.
"I'm a size six.""Why?"I replied
His response was just because.

Much to my suprise he followed me
home that day.
And this is what he had to say.

"I need some clothes that make the man."
So I gave him a silly grin.
And told him "Sure,come on in."

We went into my room and I opened the
closet door.
And away he went and looked upon the floor.

He eyes a pair of shoes and a pen.
And says"Do you have these in a size ten."
I really think he has no clue.
But he says "I'll take these too."

He asks me if he can try them on.
"Sure,go ahead."
"I think you look nice in cherry red."

So all day on he went.
And me telling him."I'm a size six."
I don't think he knew what I meant.

So after a while.I couldn't wait any longer.
I look in my room.
Clothes are strewn upon the floor.
He tells me."Please can I have some more."

So I tell him."Look you tried to put on
my hat."
"But your too darn fat."
"You overcame the biggest hurdle."
"By just getting in my girdle."
"You tried to put on my tops."
"And on you it looks like they popped."
"You tried to put on my dress."
"But you made it a mess."

Please he says."I need some more."
So again I go into my closet door.
And I grab my pantyhose and my slinky bra.
That I've never worn before.
And all the while try to push him out
the door.

And I tell him on his way out.
"Now if you could just fit into this."
"You'd look like a real miss."

For the clothes that make the man.

I'm not very good at humor poems but I thought I would give it a try. I thought it
