I wrote this poem for my Aunt&Uncle.Who lost there son to pneumonia. I hope they can find some comfort in this.
---------------------------------------------
Dear Mom and Dad
It's me Scotty.

The lord has taken me away from you.
But there was nothing I could do.

Mom and Dad I'm finally at peace.
And I really hate to see you both weep.

Don't waste your time on idle regrets.
I love you now, even more yet.

I know that you come to my gravesite each
day.
And I'm listening to every word that you say.

It's beautiful up here and nothing compares.
There are things up here that are so rare.
Like streets of gold and golden gates.
And up here these are things you cannot rate.
God made a house up here for us.
With crimson, and rubys, and glittering gold dust.
Up here there is so much love.
And I almost forgot the most beautiful white doves.

And the angels are teaching me so many things.
And God says soon I'll get my new wings.

I stand beside you everyday.
I just don't know what more I can say.
I'm happy up here.
So please don't cry and weep for me.
Someday you'll both be up here and then you will see.

Your Aunt and Uncle are very fortunate to have you for a niece. Beautiful words.

Very Beautiful words and a very nice tribute. I am sure your aunt and uncle gained a lot of comfort from this.
