As dusk draws nigh
he breathes out his heartache
with an audible sigh,
hoping soon to find the relief
that only seems to come with sleep,
where in his dreams he eagerly greets her
warm embrace as they lie together
kisses, caresses soft.....tender
bodies longing
feverish joining
til the break of morning
