the plane landed one night return to reality the city called innocent I was not to know mixed with lost souls under parades of glow got lost in the crowd unknown joy walked in DUMP heavy make-up short skirts cleavage "vodka lime extra lime please" lit a smoke inhaled looked around without seing FLASH of light ocean floor uncovered between all these buildings you smiled "Welcome home" was written on your lips |
