Please won't you listen?
My tears fall down with the slightest glisten.

My world is closing in on me.
And I feel like I'm lost at sea.

I'm feeling tired and I can't do this no more.
I feel like I'm a little doll that's been torn.

I'm sick of this house and that little hiding mouse.
I'm sick of them boys and all these old toys.
I'm sick of these cats and this tired old mat.
I'm sick of the dog and the old fireplace logs.

How can I change these things?
I can't do it alone.
You seem to like this old home.

I tell you these things and you just shoo me away.
Well what would you do if I left today?

My dearest husband.
Please won't you listen?

Thank you for sharing....been there, done that. It has been a REAL struggle but I have learned in whatsoever state I am...there-in to be content. I liked the way you captured the frustration.

You can build more up from this poem. Go for it. In the meantime, have a cup of tea [or glass of wine] and a good soak in the tub. Won't get rid of the problems, but will relieve the stress a bit.
