Listening to every heart

0 posted 1999-07-20 09:48 PM

Come flow with me, come be my love true
come glow with me, we’ll start anew.
Slowly move your fingers along toward mine
and play with me this pantomime.

Use your eyes to caress my naked soul
and linger on in my artless heart
for I know it to be my virtuous goal
that never shall we part.

Use that prose that only you speak
and lift me high until I peak
and nay do not cast me downward sire,
but slowly drown in my desire.

With fingertips warm do softly play
and, listen wistful to what I say:
when your hands reach beyond my touch:
know that I love you, oh, so much.

Embrace me whole, enfold my all,
till love’s rapture doth me call
and I fall within your passion so deep:
as you sow, so shall you reap.

This is excellent. Your phrases were outstanding throughout it all.

Lost Dreamer, thank you for the kind critique.

Balladeer, the line starts to the left, my left, once I'm a widow. Until then, you and I [and some others] must just cyberspace along. That brings up a question on relationships. What do you call a cyber-friendship? Sometimes methinks it goes way beyond platonic!
