They brought him down the aisle, many shedding tears.
There were voices singing,
everyone remembering your years.
A solemn voice cried out,
revealing intimacy...
I cannot explain
what you have meant to me...
I saw your actions, I shed tears that were my own...
I saw you salute this great man as they laid him to rest, your father,
long after you were grown.

Now it is said that you are gone...left a world without you.
A man that we all loved so much, and now we cannot have you.
Your memory is etched in stone, inside my mind...
And yet, I never knew you.
I wonder what this nation will find
without your presence.

A fallen favorite prince...
your beautiful bride and her dear sister...
Another sad tale in this American novel...
The dynasty will stay intact,
though this heart-breaking tragedy unfolds...
As you saluted your father so many years ago,
today,
I salute you.

Thank you Dream, although I disagree...I cannot explain what Jon Jon meant to me.

This is wonderful, so touching. He was a beautiful man with so many dreams left to live, but now he's gone to his creators hand with the company of his wife, and sister-in-law. They will continue to shine on us from above now.

I had to respond back again to ask if I can make a copy of this poem, it just captivated me with the words you wrote.

*Sigh* How sad, yet beautifully written. He's with his parents now.
