IRELANDS SONG

Once upon a time my heart knew love,
And laughed when the sky was blue.

Come back to me love
I need you still,
Heaven is gone
My soul you fill

Once upon a time my eyes were deep
And green like Erin's hills.

Come back to me love
I need you still,
Heaven is gone
My soul you fill

One day you'll see
That only with me,
Is where you do belong.

Till then my dear
I'll shed no tear
For this is Irelands song

I sing my tearful song which has charms only for me."

my heritage sometimes surfaces......forgive me for my flights of fancy.

This is poetic, that should cover everything there is no room to say.

Wonderful...makes me wish I had some Irish heritage.

I liked it, too!

Wow, thanks! You really pulled this one out of the archives.  Gave me a good reason to come back to passions and visit!
Again, thank you very much
