Hatred seethes through my mind, darkness caressing my brains. Anger edging its way into my soul, and rebuke takes his place at the helm. Silently waiting for love's touch, I sit in the agony of deaths clutch. Patiently doting on hearts need, I bathe in the filth of horror's seed. Benevelolent mind cast mindlessly aside, malevolent spirit joins the raucous ride. Mere humans cannot fathom my depravity, nor sink to the depths of my sad gravity. |

Hmmmmmm, doggerel, used twice in as many comments on my poems. Meaning bad or trivial poetry. I guess I cannot argue with astute commentary. I would be the first to label my poems as trivial.... bad? Perhaps. I've merely one goal in my work: to write that which I feel, or which another feels. In such a way as to engender the hightened awareness of the animal, human. Through my poetry Non sum qualis eram, and thus I am much more. Share with me your thoughts my friend, share you thoughts on my other works and together we will become greater than that which we are. Because after all, poeta nasciture, non fit. |
