Thought, borne on etheric mists
Illumining the night
Filling consciousness, guiding soul
Where journey we tonight, oh Cosmic Navigator
Stilling waves of delusion
Diving deep 'neath their incessant motion
Shield me from winds of ignorance
Impart but a fragment of Thine ineffable wisdom
For Thy child is consumed of Highest hunger.
Poured from Thy bosom forth
Fill my thirsty soul dear Friend
With draft of Divine Realization
Raise me up in lofty thought
With humility my strength
Make noble all my aims.
With the bright light of Thy love
Rend the dark veil of seperateness from Thee
'Till I again realize our Oneness.
Oh, Mother Divine, reveal Thy wondrous Self
That my tears may forever cease
In bliss of Cosmic Awareness.

Thank you Lost Dreamer. I receive very few comments in this forum. Probably this is for two reasons: 1. My poetry is not circumscribed, making it difficult for many to take the time to understand and appreciate what I am saying. 2. I am not a part of the clique. I have noticed that every poetry site has its little clique where a select few receive multitudinous comments and compliments no matter what they write and the rest are pretty much ignored. This in not to take away from the poets who deserve such recognition, but simply an observation. I will continue to bare my soul no matter what the response or lack thereof. Smile...

Lenny,
I at times feel the same way, but if you do look even some of the people who get a lot of responses also have some that have a zero near them. The fun thing to do is go to the old pages and look for those poets that's work does not have many responses, and read and respond to them. It gives that poet a boost to the front and keeps the circle going around. Please keep posting you have a wonderful talent. Patience is the key when you have as many family members as we do here.

Those who do take the time to analyze your meanings and expressions will find an excellent talent behind them. Thank you for sharing them.
