Life must have some ups and some downs. For that is what makes it so rich. How can we enjoy a mountainous high if we've never been down in a ditch? Life must have some ups and some downs. And there must be one winter storm. How can we enjoy a soft summer breeze until we can understand warm? Life must have some good and some bad, today, yesterday and tomorrow. How can we embrace a moment of peace if it isn't a respite from sorrow. |
