The shovel I carry is heavy and the grave I dig is filled with regret

In a lazy haze
I once again part my lips
and take in this foreign mouth

A mouth that fills me with
Warmth
And thickens my haze

Are you amused by my mask?
Does my smile fool you?

If you could really see my soul,
Would you stay?

Pushing away my curiousities
I once again take in that
80-proof mouth,
And dig my grave deeper

Brianne

This is a really deep poem.
I can relate in some ways, and question it in
others. My hats off to you.
