Where have all my memories gone
The sweet ones I had of you?
Thoughts from so long ago
When happiness was all we knew

Where have gone the dreams we shared
When two hearts beat as one?
When we made promises to each other
That never should have been undone?

What happened to the moonlight walks
Of holding hands in the rain?
Why in my heart do I feel
We’ll never have that again?

How did I let those moments pass
When you meant the world to me?
When did I loose the precious times
We spent in ecstasy?

I cannot pinpoint the very date
Or I would turn back the hand of time
Change the position of the stars
Erase what seems a crime

But I do not know what’s happened
Why clouds have covered our sky
So I’m left alone with reflections of space
And the desire to suddenly cry.

For sometimes when the Darkness falls, we must surrender, take what is ours, and give what we can, and always remember love is somewhere waiting...

WOW! I can relate to these feelings sooo much. Now, I want to cry! Very excellent job on a poem well-written!

I always enjoy it when you depart from simple darkness into a more profound state of entropy. Very good piece.
