" Our Quietness "
Life in its joy smiled ,
In our quiet togetherness.
Quietness....alive...then,
there it was between us….
In this now,
its alive no longer,
No longer abode of our dreams.
There is a chill in its being,
a quietness of irreparable loss,
of broken wings of expectations,
of terminated flights to rainbows;
We revel in it and it in us now..
as before….. yet now it does
In its deathly silence tell…...
the broken heart still loves,
yet you and me , both lost the..
link to life in its splendour,
You and me both lost the
joy that togetherness gave,
Lost the promise of love.
The desire for separate ways ,
for you and me, both,got
this new quietness now,
which is no longer the life between us.
