He can turn my frowns
into great big smiles.
He can make my heart
do flips.
He is everything that I
want in a man.
But he has someone!
He is my sunshine
when I'm sad.
He is my laughter
when I'm mad.
He has the smile that
makes me swoon.
He has the eyes that
gleam like the moon.
But he has someone!
He tells me I'm pretty.
He tells me I'm fun.
He tells me how great I am
what a great person I am.
But he has someone!
He makes me think
that I deserve the world.
He makes me believe
I can have the moon & stars.
He makes me think that
that someone should be me!
He makes me wonder
what life would be like together.

to be with him.
He made me respect him
for all that he's done.
He made me love him for
the kindness he showed.
But he has someone!
He made me realize
how alike we are inside.
He made me want
to enjoy every minute.
He made me want him
to share it and be in it.
But he has someone!
He is everything to me.
He is everything that I want.
He is the perfect gentleman.
He is kind to me.
He is funny to cheer me up.
He treats me like a queen.
But he has someone!

He makes me want
to be that someone.

Very nice poem Augchic. Just a little word of advice. If he knows he is doing this for you while he has someone then he probably isn't that great of a guy. If he is doing that then he is playing both you and that "someone". And if he is doing that do you really want to someday be that "someone"? Just some food for thought.

Wonderful Augchic711. I can truly relate to this. I have been in the same sort of situation, but now he and I are going out. Wonderful job!

I have to agree with jfreak....this guy sounds like he's playing off both you and his 'someone'...he shouldn't be making you feel like this if he's committed to someone else. What if you do get together someday and then you're his someone..will we see a poem posted by the next girl he flirts with? A word of caution...............

Your sincerity always shows through, Augchic...an admirable trait. But, believe me, it's easy making someone "on the side" feel that way. The idea is to make your main someone feel that way!

Thanks for the compliment Balladeer and I do agree with you it's easy for some to say not to let him get to me but everyone always says that you fall in love with your friends and I truly believe that friendship is stronger in the long run. So thanx everyone for your opinions.
