With a smile on his face, and bounce in his walk
you couldnt resist, with him you had to talk!
he was never so rude, to have said a malice word,
didnt have your homework? he'd help for sure!
He was the kindest young man, I know in my school..
he wasnt in the incrowd, not considered cool
he had a mind of silver and a heart of gold,
didnt have a jacket?, he'd stand in the cold

but you see.. a week ago today, my friend you see, is gone,
He fell asleep at the wheel, my friends life is done
But the thoughts of him make me smile, and make me wanna be
as sweet and happy, as my friend Cliff was for me,
In memory of him, I'll never forget, his calm and happy stride
I'll miss you Cliff, and wish you would have never died
but I'll go on, and sing your song,
with a smile on my face, and bounce in my walk
and surely with me, they shall have to talk.

Gentle Soul~
Thank you! Thank you for sharing such a touching story. Your friend Cliff would be honored to have such a wonderful work of art dedicated to him in his honor! Thank you and I'm deeply sorry for your loss. Cliff sounds like a wonderful person that I'd love to have gotten the chance to know! Thanx again!

This tribute is touching, I wish you had joined us here long ago. I look forward to seeing you and your work grow.
I'm proud of you, little sister.
