Let me be free,
To roam the wild winds,
And dance upon the autumn leaves,
Riding them like my own magic carpets.
Let me cling to the bare branches,
In the winter chill,
Freezing, alone, and desolate,
Watching the gleeful snowflakes romp.
Let me blossom in reminiscent perfume,
Filling your senses in rare moments,
Always there in the shadows,
When you need tenderness to hold to.
Let me melt away beneath summer skies,
Collecting in a puddle at your feet,
Wondering why we grow distant,
When the days get longer.

This is incredibly beautiful...you have touched my heart. You are truly talented, Temptress.

I find much truth here, and much doubt about things.  Even then.

This is my own life, in a way, that you've captured here.

Thank you.
