The first second I laid my eyes on you,
I knew you were the one.
The second week you were my friend,
I thought forever had begun.
The last minute was but too late,
To say my heart was true.
Now you're gone, and I'm alone,
With only memories of you.

poignant i think i always use the word but never look it up yuh love it tho
