In Tempore Still new to this Its only been 2 weeks since she has been gone. You still feel her wrath You hurt so much You need time Last night I cried for you Some tears for your pain, Some for your confusion And some for my love for you As it must be put on hold You need more Time How I wish I could… But how?…am I to take that pain away The wounds are very new You still feel the sting of her attack It even hurts when I touch you You need more Time You need space to heal To mourn For it is a death, of love New beginnings lie ahead But only when you are ready That takes more Time I have all the time in the world for you I am here Loving you Wanting you As I wait for Time to Pass In tempore my love Cher - Written July 13, 1999 |
