Visions

I had a vision of the past
What did I see?
Mistakes, pain, regret
But like the knife that shears
the skin for treatment,
I saw it's help, its good.

I saw a vision of the present
What did I see?
A lonely soul caught in a world
of chaotic upheaval.
I see a floursecent star in a dark sky.

I saw a vision of the future
What did I see?
A bird of peace, challenging
the hurricane of corruptness.
I see a casualty of war.
