its seems as though its been so long,
since ive seen your smile,
i tell your children how much i love them,
for us both its been awhile.

it seems as though weve changed,
still we know each other well,
times have a way of living pasts,
with new stories to tell.

i watch you reminise,
with so much joy in your eyes,
that happiness we shared,
once brought tears to mine.

ive missed the immaturity,
that always made me laugh,
the softness in your words,
that i hear agian at last.

when your love was the closest,
and our lives somehow intertwined,
like a second mother,
thats been lost somewhere in time.

i remember all the nights,
that i let you see my soul,
and after you were gone,
our times ran somewhat cold.

i wrote you many letters,
but never one was sent,
they couldnt replace the love that you gave,
never realizing what it ment.

ive grown so much before you,
and your family in my life,
losing all if these times,
could and will never feel right.

finding in you an eternal friend,
and in my life, i find you,
back agian.

back agian, just for tonight,
sharing everything in between,
so many months that ive lost sight,
of everything you mean.

my family, youve became,
over all the years,
with me through everything,
my happiness, and my tears.

and i only want to thank you,
for everything youve done,
and send with you, forever,
all of my love.
