I already have a poem published
about my neice and nephew that
died. It is "Butterfly and Star".
But before my neice died and right
after the death of my nephew I
wrote this poem for him!!!!!!

Check the date on the cheese the
butter and meat
What to get rid of, what is safe
to eat.
Charge cards, coupons even license
plates
Tell us when they expire by the
dates.
Our entire life revolves around
time running out
To be honest its something I never
thought alot about
Until the death of a young
relative of mine
If only I would have had some kind
of a sign!
Just a short warning that he was
going to die,
I could have been able to say my
"Goodbyes".
But with a sudden death it doesn't
work that way
And all the "I Love You's" its too
late to say!
If only in Gods creation of man
One small thing would have been
added to his plan.
We could avoid alot of the guilt
and the pain
And in some, the actual feeling of
going insane!
You've probably already guessed
just what I mean
Yes, a simple expiration date on
each human being!!!!!!!!
